No I already have a beard and i keep it neatly trimmed.
11/12/2014 6:07:22 PM
Face? Nah.
11/12/2014 6:07:44 PM
Fareako is growing a mustache, but it's more a deployment 'stache sort of thing than a Movember thing
11/12/2014 6:08:20 PM
I already have a beard. But it is growing.
11/12/2014 6:21:21 PM
I stopped shaving a few months ago, and I don't plan on shaving til the spring at least. I did trim my moustache because it sucks to eat your hair all the time. But I probably won't trim anything else
11/12/2014 7:43:54 PM
Is it just because beards, or is there a formal cause behind it?
11/12/2014 7:49:15 PM
we're supposed to grow facial hair in November in order to remind other men to check their prostates
11/12/2014 7:50:47 PM
I'm doing this. I already have a nice 3/4" of fur on my scrotum.
11/12/2014 8:17:10 PM
I footlong taint hairs,WHAT!
11/12/2014 8:17:42 PM
I, too, don't eat Subway

No Shave November...is that an official thing? Or is it just an excuse for those who want to participate in Movember without having to donate to charity or adhere to the mustache-only guidelines of Movember?Movember is a worldwide charity event for prostate cancer research and is supposed to be a 30 day challenge to start with a freshly shaven face and grow only the mustache during that time. You can do it solo or sign up a team and raise donation funds through sponsors and things like that.If "no shave november" is a thing I guess i'm participating considering i haven't shaved since July and will not be shaving again until at least July 2015. 12 month beard challenge > any one month contest
11/13/2014 8:22:07 AM
I just started because I get lazy about shaving when it's cold
11/13/2014 8:27:27 AM
I havent shaved yet, but at some point I need to get my haircut and then its gonna look stupid so I will have to shave and start over. Should have planned this out and got it cut earlier I suppose.
11/13/2014 8:33:40 AM
my cycle is beard for a few months, shave it all of, rebeard, repeat. November this year happens to be in the middle of my bearded phase.
11/13/2014 8:54:43 AM
after 3 weeks of no shaving I always start to itch and have to shave it. How the heck do I grow a REAL damn beard?!
11/13/2014 2:11:09 PM
tough it out for a couple weeks like a real fucking man
11/13/2014 2:12:31 PM
^^ You can moisturize it HAHAHAHAHAH!
11/13/2014 2:54:06 PM
Doing this for my pubes since I cant grow a beard
11/13/2014 2:57:45 PM
I hadn't shaved in about 2 months already and that shit was getting unbearable. Had to break down and stop being lazy the other day.You fuckers with beards use beard oil or anything to keep your face from drying out like crazy?
11/13/2014 2:58:25 PM
I am participating. My neck beard has connected to my chest hair. I feel like I should wear a turtleneck to work.
11/13/2014 3:55:35 PM

Man, I had some wicked beard dandruff going - It was embarrassing...and started to itch like a son of a bitch
11/13/2014 4:41:15 PM
2 months growth would have been fine to start using some oils. Do you have naturally dry skin? I've never experienced beard dandruff.Over washing your beard can dry it out a lot worse than the hair on your head. Maybe you were using a harsh face wash or shampoo? If you grow it back out try not to wash it so much. Just run water through it and then a light soap/shampoo every few days.
11/13/2014 4:45:18 PM
I get beard dandruff every winter when i grow my beard, and I hardly ever wash my face with soap... (i also get it on my head in the winter). What kind of oil? Sounds kinda icky.... but so is dandruff.
11/13/2014 5:24:26 PM
used motor oil
11/13/2014 5:32:01 PM
^^^ Usually don't have a problem with dry skin at all, but I was definitely washing it every day, so I'm sure that was a pretty big factor.

11/14/2014 9:13:09 AM
Wait wait what exactly does beard oil do?
11/15/2014 9:35:12 PM
You mean what exactly it doesn't it do. It's miracle oil! Snake oil! DAT 190% elixir! 'THE BE ALL END ALL!'
11/15/2014 10:00:21 PM
just use conditioner
11/15/2014 10:05:42 PM
I use coconut oil (for cooking) and it's been working pretty well for me since August. It smells like coconut for a little while but evidently starts to smell like soap after 12 hrs or so.Previous beard attempts (without any oil) have ended in a desperate shave due to welt-like zits on my face/neck. This time I have had a couple come and go, but just managed not to fuck with them too much and everything is working out better. My hairs are a good 1" long and I've got a real grizzly adams look going.
11/15/2014 10:08:07 PM
Ah - yeah I don't have any dryness or breaking out issues. Just wondering if oil gave you any other benefits.
11/15/2014 10:18:21 PM
I use aveda conditioner on my beard. (no, i don't buy it... rather i sneak it from my wife's hair care cache.)

I haven't shaved my legs since Halloween.
11/16/2014 12:19:14 PM
