It's a sideways swastika so it's not offensive

oh hey they got my tweet

I mean, to be fair, it is a common symbol in India that has absolutely nothing to do with murdering Jews... Still, prolly not the best idea, especially when mixed with punk rock...

just in time for Diwali - a ring with a Hindu religious symbol!

^ who cares, it's still funny.and anyway, it's on the Sears website. They're hosting it, so they have to take some responsibility for it.]

^and that right there is why we are becoming a nation of pussies.
10/15/2014 8:10:36 AM
not really. it's called "being answerable for what happens in your house/on your watch."I didn't say full responsibility, bear in mind. I said some responsibility.]

This is what happens when you let anybody with a stolen credit card sling merchandise on your site. You'd think they'd want to salvage what little is left of the Sears name, but no.It's also a reminder of how much I hate Sears' website. I don't want to wade through a bunch of third party sellers to find the price on a tool that I plan to pick up locally if I buy.Whoever decided that this was how Sears should represent itself on the internet should be fired. Dude...It's going to be like eBay, but on the Sears website!!!!1"[Edited on October 15, 2014 at 10:36 AM. Reason : s]

If it was REALLY punk rock, it would be a black ring with a red or white swastika.

"im so offended ill never buy a washer/dryer from them again"
10/15/2014 4:56:01 PM
so they won't put the swastika on my new riding mower?
10/15/2014 4:59:38 PM
The agitator of the washer kind of looks like a swastika, if you don't really think about it.

Everyone relates the swastika with only Nazism. There's more to the swastika and it's still a religious symbol for Hindus and Budhists.People are such intollerant hypocrits. We want a free market, but you can't sell that or we'll boycottttt youuuuuu[Edited on October 15, 2014 at 8:41 PM. Reason : .]

^ahahahahah^^great, its a symbol in asia of something good. The entire western world associates it with the one of the worst events in human history and its being sold in the western world

I once thought the swastika that turned the *other* way was the good onethen I learned both variants were used in India.

^^ In Budhism, Counterclockwise is negative (evil, misfortune, struggles, trouble), clockwise is good (life, luck, etc). But Nazi's use the clockwise, which in the western world is depicted as bad, so they try to use the counterclockwise as the more positive symbol. Funny how east and west are opposite.
