So I have a new Brother MFC-J6920DW. It has "internet-fax", which (if I have my facts right) allows it to fax using an email address. Didn't get it because I needed to send faxes, but it's a feature, so I'm interested in testing it out.I can't figure out if it will actually "Fax", as in, send to an actual land-line fax machine, using some kind of phone gateway on Brother's end, or if it only sends to other email-equipped faxes. If the latter is the case, and it's only email-to-email, then whats the f-ing point?Am I missing something?

I have http://www.efax.com which is not related to this thread. It can RX and TX faxes using a number they provide and its all done by email or scanned .pdf. I am not sure how you would do that without a phone# because as you said what is the point. Maybe it can just receive your faxes (via landline) and then shoot you a .pdf to your email. (which would be useful if you had a fax line)]
