Taylor Tomlinson taking over after Colbert? WTF? She’s ok-funny but this seems to be coming out of nowhere. She’s just a stand-up comedian. Hasn’t really filled in for any current hosts, hasn’t hosted any other shows, hasn’t acted in anything.

Just kind of weird.

I realize that they've all done stand-up, but most of them went on to do some other things before hosting their own show.

I'm not saying it's going to be bad or anything. She'll probably be great. I'd watch, if it weren't so late.

I feel like being incredibly internet famous and having multiple comedy specials is a better prerequisite than being a local TV weatherman.

Also, she's not taking over after Colbert (unless you mean the timeslot after Colbert), her show is replacing the late late show. That is a perfectly fine place for a host with no "TV hosting experience" to you know, get that experience. Maybe she'll be bad, maybe she'll be good. Who knows? Probably depends heavily on the format of the new show.
