Can anyone on this forum attest to the alleged tossing of a coke machine off of one of the topmost floors of Sullivan in the early to mid 70's ?

I always heard about it, but it's always somebody's fraternity brother's cousin's dad's brother in law's former roommate that "witnessed" it.

We used to throw all sorts of shit off of Lee Hall when I lived there. I think all our liquor bottles ended up on top of the roof of Fountain Dining Hall. I recall one time an old TV set was tossed over the side

there was a polar bear in my Sullivan suite in spring '01 at the end of the semester. I wonder where that thing ended up. I've always had the feeling it may have made the jump

When campus switched from Coke to Pepsi we retaliated by knocking over the Pepsi machine and putting it in the Lee Hall elevator.

Sullivan used to house athletes and was called "The Jungle".

They wanted to clean the image of the dorm up so they housed the Scholars kids there.

Yeah the Cox jumper did that when I was there (sometime between '01-'05). I heard it was a grad student who didn't pass either comps or the dissertation. Not sure if he lived, either.

I lived in Dabney, Cox and Polk because I was a BCH major. Ugly buildings, all of them.

if by coke machine, you mean student, and by early to mid 70's, you mean 1997, and by Sullivan you mean the Holiday Inn downtown (now Clarion, I think?)
