Position Title: Rickshaw Driver Downtown Concierge

Compensation: Drivers rent the bikes by the shift and all money made on the street is yours. Pay is entirely from tips. The better your personality, the better your tips! We are not just transportation, we are "Transportainment"! You must able to communicate well and be experienced in the art of smiling!
We can train you how to drive, but we can't train you how to have personality, so personality is a must!

You must be minimum of 18 years of age, have a working cell phone, valid driver's license, valid credit or debit card and be able to pass a criminal back ground check with no DUI's or felonies in the past three years.

Raleigh Rickshaw operates as a TEAM in order to create a sustainable, healthy and fun workplace.

This sounds like a pretty horrible pay structure, or a good way for someone to launder money from selling drugs.

Hey Folks, We have been in business since 2007, most of our current drivers have been with us more than 4 years. drivers make $75-200 a night CASH, and $300-$500 during special events like the upcoming hopscotch festival, Spark-con, blue Grass festival and Ray Price Harley davison festival all downtown and all in september, of course thats depending on how much personality you have!

This is the first time we have offered the position to NCSU students. hoping we could get some quality people to add to our growing team.

what about the homeless? theyre always walking around the city, why not just strap something to them?

i dont care where youre from, or how you got here or what happened to your homes, but you will have to be physically fit. because to pull rickshaws requires more than just strong legs.

we strapped the rickshaw to a homeless guy and he bolted.
we should've got some collateral from him. like his bag of cans...or...his other bag of cans.
