8/11/2014 7:26:08 PM
Such a loss.

Thanks Obama?
8/11/2014 8:09:26 PM
I was kinda sad about this for a second, but 63 is pretty old for Robin Williams. He did alright.
8/11/2014 8:13:27 PM
Rich 63 is middle class 53 or poor 43.
8/11/2014 8:15:58 PM
Depends on how you spend that rich. If you spend it all on hookers and coke, well, 63 is doing pretty well.
8/11/2014 8:17:30 PM
Plus, he killed himself so that bit of information about a "rich 63" seems less relevant.
8/11/2014 8:19:12 PM
Breaks my heart more than I think it should. Probably spend tomorrow watching his movies.

"Death by asphyxia" says CNN
8/11/2014 10:47:11 PM
he's off to a better place now, doing speedballs again with John Belushi.
8/11/2014 11:09:49 PM
I fail to see how some people in this thread are so emotionally invested in him that they feel sad enough for it to affect them...?If he saved thousands of kids from starving to death, I am not aware. Did he? Or anything else to help humanity?
8/11/2014 11:20:59 PM
He'll be even more overrated in death

^^^his humor and entertainment went a long way to brighten the lives of many, even if for only a few moments at a time. i figure that warrants some mourning.[Edited on August 11, 2014 at 11:35 PM. Reason : jank]

I have never in my life been so sad about a celebrity death. ugh
8/12/2014 12:34:41 AM
Is his best role easily and without a doubt Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting?[Edited on August 12, 2014 at 2:13 AM. Reason : But him in Birdcage is one of my all time favs]
8/12/2014 2:11:34 AM
Death to Smoochie was inarguably his best work.

I've been saddened to hear about many celebrity deaths, but this is one of the first ones that has really struck a chord with me. Not just in the case of who this person was but also the cause of death itself and the mental state that may have lead up to it. It's always hard to imagine that some of the most energetic and delightful people can seemingly be the most tormented inside.

I'm sure there are others... but I find these paradoxes interesting.
