2007 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab, 2x4, Red, V4, 5 spd manual, toolbox, am/fm/cd, ac, 233,xxx miles, manual locks, manual windows, tires low but still have tread, clutch feels good, steering is good, alignment needed with new tires, bedliner, rubber floormats, owner's manual. Asking $4,250, and getting hits close to that on CL. averages 20mpg

233*** miles, wow
6/24/2014 1:57:21 PM
no, not 233*** miles, it's 233,xxx miles.

6/24/2014 6:25:19 PM
Oh shit... This is rare as hell... a V4?!
6/24/2014 6:35:57 PM
Don't forget that it also has actual rubber floormats, an am/fm/cd player, manual windows and door locks. Those are all high demand items. To think he's only asking only $1,500 more than NADA average trade in. Add in another $600 to address the tires, alignment and the iffy clutch and you are only $100 over NADA average retail.

^^i was about to ask for more details about that v4...
6/24/2014 9:43:00 PM

6/25/2014 3:47:12 PM
seriously?
6/25/2014 6:50:25 PM
yes
6/25/2014 10:29:49 PM
233,xxx miles... seems like a reasonable offer.
6/25/2014 11:03:52 PM
Haha, you two fuckes don't know shit. If you can't even beat Carmax, then GTFO. I have trade-in offers for more than twice that. I have multiple interested parties at nearly 4 times that. I even said in the OP that I'm getting hits close to my asking price, so I don't know why you even bother posting $1,000 or thinking that's a fair offer.
6/26/2014 9:04:36 AM
$1200 just to get the bidding moving up for you
6/26/2014 10:20:54 AM
^^Clearly because you've never done anything like this in someone's thread: http://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=626324I'll raise my bid to $1,300 since I have to fix a bunch of shit[Edited on June 26, 2014 at 10:43 AM. Reason : ]
6/26/2014 10:38:00 AM
haha. What's there to be fixed here? It's ok, I have a buyer coming Sunday with a reasonable offer.[Edited on June 26, 2014 at 10:57 AM. Reason : .]

Truck needs new tires and alignment. With 233k it definitely could need some work. Also just because you aren't aware of problems doesn't mean they aren't there.[Edited on June 26, 2014 at 11:04 AM. Reason : ]
6/26/2014 11:04:34 AM
^^the buyer hasn't even shown up but you know he/she is bringing a reasonable offer? Is that because that's what the buyer told you before even checking the car out or do you just know these kinds of things? Can you offer any other concrete predictions? Care to let us know who is going to win the World Cup?

Isn't clean retail on this well over $6k? I don't get the bitching.
6/26/2014 2:54:30 PM
^um, it might have something to do with this truck not being "clean retail"? Known issues are the tires and alignment. Given the number of miles, I would be suspicious of the clutch and brakes as well. Those are only the unknown issues. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't ever find this truck on a reputable dealer's lot. If they received it in trade, it would promptly be shipped off to auction. The asking price is so close to retail that you will likely end up higher than retail once you got the known problems fixed.[Edited on June 26, 2014 at 3:10 PM. or, alternatively, you know that an "asking" price means that a seller is open to negotiating

6/26/2014 4:12:56 PM
ITT people think tires, brakes, alignments, & clutches last 233,000 miles and never have been replaced.ok, I'll stop replying to the angry trollololololols.[Edited on June 26, 2014 at 4:46 PM. Reason : .]
