Who else has been following the sport this season? I've been a bit amazed at the dominance shown by Mercedes AMG. They've really been bending everyone else over and making them their bitches. Quite impressive. Lapping the Ferraris at almost every race probably has everyone back in Maranello quite enraged I really hate these damn engines and fuel restrictions. The engines sound like absolute dogshit - nothing this exotic should sound so pedestrian And these damn fuel restrictions need to go. Engine redline is capped at 15,000 but a lot of these guys aren't even going over 12,000 because they don't wanna consume too much fuel. Leave the eco-shit to Formula E and give us our hydrocarbon glory back.Anyone else think that Lewis Hamilton has been acting like a stuck up whiny bitch? I've never followed the sport as closely as I am this season so maybe I missed it before, but damn that guy sure does seem like he's PMS'ing 24/7.

I thought his teammate was being a cunt. At least thats what the previews led me to think, and the way he acted after winning.

When Rosberg won he hugged the whole crew, not sure what's so bad about that. Hamilton has been bitching all season. His radio chatter during every race is ridiculous - he gets upset with the crew almost constantly. And his claims of Rosberg crashing intentionally in Q3 were unfounded, per a FIA review that was probably prompted by his irresponsible comments at the time.

I haven't followed the sport, but the NBC pre-race interviews painted Rossberg in a bad light. They made it like he was so pissed that Hamilton had 4 in a row. I haven't even seen F1 on tv since speed channel died. Where do you see all the races? The onboards are awesome. I loved that thermo cam they were using. Cars sounded terrible, I kept waiting to hear them go screaming through the tunnel [Edited on May 27, 2014 at 10:50 AM. Reason : ]

GW Vettel
5/27/2014 10:59:01 AM
^eh? Vettel has been let down all season by his half baked Renault powertrain.^^If not on NBC, all races are on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN). The next race, at Montreal, is again on NBC and will be running on east coast time, wahoo!

Engines are quiet enough that you don't need ear plugs when you're like 50 feet away at full acceleration.
5/30/2014 9:20:11 PM
I'm planning on camping at a NASCAR race this summer. I hope it's deafening.
5/30/2014 9:42:50 PM
^^That is not a good thing^Take ear plugs, the sound that they make cannot be described.
5/30/2014 9:44:21 PM
I like feeling the roar of an engine a little more than hearing the roar of an engine.
5/31/2014 12:07:52 AM
If you like quiet race cars you must only watch on TV.
5/31/2014 9:24:35 AM
Anyone that follows indy car racing, is there a reason they don't have electric starters on them?
5/31/2014 5:18:33 PM
^they be heavyF1 cars are cool and all but the leader almost never gets overtaken and there are only 2 cars that can win this year apparently. I did like the movie Rush though
6/1/2014 7:56:32 AM
Rush? Man, you gotta go old school. Give me "Driven" anyday.
6/1/2014 12:08:31 PM
I really hope you're trolling.
6/2/2014 8:28:49 AM
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
6/2/2014 9:11:17 AM
I'm only slightly trolling as the cars used in the movie Driven were actually CART Champ Cars and not F1. They did use F1 sounds though.
6/4/2014 10:11:30 PM
Sure there's that...and the part about almost everything racing related in that movie being completely unrealistic.Back on topic, who's planning to watch the Montreal race this wknd?
6/5/2014 9:06:48 AM
I'll be watching.I'm currently watching the Isle of Man TT stuff. The Senior race plays tonight on Velocity if anyone is interested.I watched the sidecar races last night, those bastards are insane.
6/6/2014 1:35:46 PM
Anyone else excited about Le Mans?(I know its not F1)
6/6/2014 2:12:48 PM
^i excited about indy cars at texas tonight. does that count?
6/7/2014 1:02:18 PM
Open wheel cars on a high banked oval, yea I'll pass on that.
6/7/2014 4:03:22 PM
^it got a lot better once they changed the cars so they have to lift in the corners.
6/7/2014 7:46:58 PM
I'm tuned in. Had a vegas vibe first few laps, but now it actually doesn't feel like I'm waiting to see someone die.[Edited on June 7, 2014 at 9:11 PM. Reason : .]

I forgot to DVR the Montreal race, and due to some recent changes with my DirecTV programming I no longer get NBCSN, which aires most of the races Oh well.
