easy now... we got rid of a lot of the dead-weight power only hitters that those pitchers shit on. This team is finally balanced with "guys who get on base" vs. power hitters. and we have speed this year. The bullpen is improving and the defense is much better this year.

Early word is serious injury to verlander. Looks like its not our year. Miggy playing hurt, sanchez on the DL 3 times, lost 3 bullpen members for the season and whats left in the bullpen is fucking horrible, lost starting LF and SS before the season started and are forced to play 54 games in 55 days due to shitty scheduling and bad weather in april.

I approve of the cespedes trade. Porcello is never going to be more than he is now which is a #3-4 starter and both are in the final year of their contracts. Alex wilson was decent for the sox last year and should help the pen

As for the suarez for simon trade, im indifferent. I know theyll move Simon back to the bullpen which is what we need and suarez was a non-prospect before last year so i guys i cant complain

i dont like either trade. suarez made a little more sense though. porcello was at least a key player in the success of last year (success being the 4th straight division title before the playoff choke by the bullpen.) Suarez has potential, but I'm more ok with trading potential.

Its been a pathetic miserable season. To let fister, scherzer, and porcello go in a matter of two seasons and not even touch the bullpen is pathetic. This season was well earned by shitty management. The 4 straight division titles were nice though.
