i'm looking for rubber flooring or liner so that i can custom cut something for the cargo area of my mazda3...even if i was willing to pay the money for a fitted cargo liner that has a lip, i actually want something that i can customize to run up the wheel wells and flip over the bumper so my dogs can jump in and out without scratching the paintit doesn't have to be fancy or especially thick (just thick enough to hold up against dog nails)...in fact, if there's something cheap that's already pre-cut for a truck bed or something, that worksfor flexibility's sake, it probably shouldn't be thicker than 1/4" or 6mm...local is preferred because i'd like to check it out before buying, but i'm sure there are more options online

^^ that's what i was thinking, but i don't find any on advance's website (not to say they don't have them, i just couldn't find them)...and so i wasn't sure where else to check^ ah, good idea...think it will be tough enough to withstand dog's nails?[Edited on March 22, 2014 at 8:48 AM. Reason : .]

I think so, and it is fairly cheap as well, so you can replace it when it wears out without too much hassle. IIRC it is 5' wide, and you buy it buy the 1' length.

You can go to Autozone or Walmart, and for $30 buy a universal liner specifically made for wagons and hatchbacks, that is trim-to-fit. They also have liner material in rolls, in case the universal mats don't come out far enough. You can also get a padded pet liner or even pet ladder if your dog has arthritis or is a giant pussy. Or maybe you can invent in one of those luggage conversion kits for your dog[Edited on March 22, 2014 at 12:14 PM. Reason : .]
