Paul Ryan is an idiot, one of the dumbest people in politics. It's sad the republicans prop him up when there are so many better republicans.

This response speech is pretty terrible though. I guess they are at a disadvantage not knowing what the pres would say.

lie, lie, something i may have done right, something i'll say to rally my base but not really pursue, lie, how great america is, talk of bi-partisanship, re-hashing commitments to campaign promises that were not yet carried out, an idea that sounds good, good bye everyone

Then the next 30 minutes will be spent by the opposite party rebutting point by point every thing in the presidents speech even if the point was a good one. The opposite-party follow up is what really grinds my gears. Everything the president says is wrong. I'd love for the president to speak of a policy that is typically favored by the opposing party and wait for that party to then rebuke that idea just to show the president up.'

Almost forgot, every 2 minutes all the democrats clap and the republicans sit there with scorns on their face.
