Wondering if any of you guys might be HVAC experts. When I turn on my heat the fan on my unit turns on, but I get no heat. I took the font panel off and the motherboard has a green light on it the blinks in four blink bursts. I assume this is a diag code, but I'm having no luck figuring out what it is.Any of you guys happen to know what it means?

My boss had a problem where the air would blow but no heat would come out. Her carbon monoxide filter was clogged. Or whatever...I know it was a filter.

Check home ownership woes thread. I think wdprice3 had a similar issue a couple pages back.

I'd just call allen kelly & company (or another service company)...To clarify, what unit turns on? The blower (air handler) or the compressor (outdoor unit), or both? Is the light labeled? My situation was that the blower would run, but the compressor would not (e.g. blowing cold air); problem turned out to be a bad temperature sensor in the discharge duct.

i replaced the circuit board on my unit before. expensive for what you get, but it's easy enough to do if you know anything about circuits.

I had it happen before and it was a bad sensor similar to what wdprice3 described, a easy fix.The codes should tell you everything.

Gotta ask, is your main or isolated gas shutoff valve actually open? Paid your gas bill? Was it working for a while before it started just blowing cool air?
