...my old housemate (who still lives in raleigh) and i will be driving our S13s down to charlotte this coming saturday (9/28/13) for a Streetwise Drift event.

if anyone wants to try it out, this is great place to learn. the course is big and open, nothing to hit. and there are usually a good handful of beginners in a heat together, so you won't be derping around out there by yourself. plenty of seat time too. it's a very good bang for your buck.

also for anyone interested in just watching and riding along: IIRC once you're through the $10 gate fee, you're free to get ride alongs with any car during the day (besides during the tandem competition itself) as long as you're wearing a helmet.


disclaimer: prepare to be mad at the obscene amounts of gay in the car show area. in fact, prepare to mad at a lot of cars/people there in general.
