Beautiful boobs.
9/23/2013 11:51:53 PM
I just watched on dvr.. I enjoyed it, but I thought most of it is so predictable.
9/26/2013 10:33:27 PM
enjoyed. will watch again.
9/30/2013 8:03:16 AM
It's better than Hostages, so it'll get that slot on my DVR.
9/30/2013 8:59:28 AM
i think the youtube preview spoiled the first episode - it was good, but felt like i had already watched it. i am still excited about the premise, and look forward to seeing more.
9/30/2013 9:03:47 AM
haven't seen the first, but liking the second so far
9/30/2013 10:47:09 PM
halfway through the first episodethe map pinpoints him and the guy says he's at the lincoln memorial but the map is of someplace no where near the lincoln memorial
10/1/2013 1:26:56 AM
Yeah, that map bothered me, but I ignored it to not ruin the rest of the show. Enjoyed the second episode too.
10/1/2013 11:08:48 AM
This show needs to become a little less episodic. I know it just started, but 3 mastermind criminals caught in two episodes, with little continuity to hold it together. I personally prefer longer story arcs.
10/1/2013 12:42:59 PM
you do, personally. the average network viewer does not. See CBS long time success with "criminal of the week shows". NBC has failed with countless serials over the last few years. I'm not disagreeing with you, i'm like you, just saying that we are in the minority. NBC may have the rare chance to have a hit show on their hands.
10/1/2013 1:20:40 PM
What abut that Lost show? Yea, I realize that's an exception.
10/1/2013 1:35:32 PM
correct. look at the shows with deeper serialized mythologies that tried to follow it. The Event, FlashForward, V, Awake, My Own Worst Enemy, Heroes, etc.NBC has tried it a lot, and failed a lot. A lot of the time, though, it's the network pulling a show before it gets a chance to succeed. One reason a lot of viewers have abandoned NBC, they're notorious for it. So it's nice to see them have some success with more "of the week" type shows like Grimm, Hannibal, and maybe Blacklist. Each has their own deeper arcs, but aren't so completely focused on it that it turns off the "casual viewer"
10/1/2013 1:42:12 PM
Jeep: I understand your point, but not everything has to be drawn out into really long story arcs to satisfy this.I would think the networks would learn from the HBOs, Showtimes, and AMCs that put together some amazing shows that aren't wrapped up every 60 minutes. The Lost comparison is interesting, because I think that is potentially what you DO NOT want to do (have long, never ending arcs).
10/1/2013 1:42:21 PM
one of my favorite shows that doesn't get a ton of love on here, but blends "of the week" along with a great continuing mystery arc is Person of Interest.
10/1/2013 1:49:21 PM
^^^ The problem with those shows, IMO, wasn't that they had long story arcs. They just sucked.I actually like Person of Interest [Edited on October 1, 2013 at 1:49 PM. Reason : ]
10/1/2013 1:49:35 PM
I am enjoying this show a lot! III
10/15/2013 12:59:28 AM
Another entertaining evening of Blacklist (even if the opening sequence was pretty obvious). Curious where they will take the husband thread.
10/22/2013 3:24:24 PM
the husband's angle is one of the only reasons i'm sticking with this show.
10/22/2013 3:57:02 PM
Spader is bringing it, even with having to repeat the idiotic names the writers have come up with for the people he's after. Not sure anyone else is.And ^ is definitely keeping me interested.
10/26/2013 9:04:44 PM
Red Reddington is a pretty stupid name itself. But yeah, the cheese factor for the bads of the week is pretty high.
10/28/2013 9:15:17 AM
tell me you're joking. Red is short for Reddington. His name is not Red Reddington, he's not a marvel super hero
10/28/2013 12:45:21 PM
hahaha i see now that his name is Raymond Reddington. i'm usually only giving this show 40% of my attention
10/28/2013 1:22:49 PM
10/28/2013 2:05:06 PM
say whhhhhaaaaa
11/4/2013 11:00:04 PM

regardless this show is fantastic
11/12/2013 4:24:45 AM
Was this last episode the first time we found out Lizzie was adopted? Maybe I'm misremembering something, but didn't one of the earlier episodes have Lizzie straight up tell Raymond that she knew he wasn't her father? I mean...if you know you're adopted...then obviously your biological father has to be out there somewhere right? Seems like she'd at least think of the possibility that Raymond could be him and secretly get his DNA to do a test or something. It just doesn't really make a ton of sense. For that matter, why would Raymond be so over the top/father figure on her if he's trying to hide the fact that he's her dad/killed her adoptive dad so he wouldn't tell her the truth. Unless of course the real "twist" is that he's not really her dad, which I suppose would be the only remotely shocking twist that could come from this whole Raymond/Lizzie backstory mystery they've got going on.
11/12/2013 6:37:31 AM
Maybe she was too young to know she was adopted?I don't see a reason for her to even remotely consider Red her father. The height lines in the house were obviously of another child...maybe the girl in the photo album from the earlier episode? *shrug*Of course:
11/12/2013 8:18:10 AM
Her husband told Red that she was adopted at 5. If he knows, surely she does too.
11/12/2013 5:38:15 PM
well fuck, i missed that bit - why the hell wouldn't she remember what her father looked like then
11/12/2013 5:45:26 PM
catching up. loved the 3 second delay between generic FBI guy firing two shots and Gina Xena Tacos reacting to the shots. thinking about dropping this show.
11/16/2013 1:59:42 PM
Why is Robert California always chewing
11/16/2013 2:04:32 PM
knew those fuckers were going to pull the show a bad ass episode and then take an dickish break
11/19/2013 12:54:52 PM
I still love James Spader.Almost as much as I love Ellen Page.
11/25/2013 10:45:44 PM
I'm the only one posting / and probably watchingNo big reveals this week? Was I just not paying attention when there were? No real suspense build up for the return.
12/2/2013 10:59:24 PM
Still watching and enjoying the show.*** SPOILERS ***The only real "reveal" was Lizzie asking if Red was her father, and Red hesitated then flat out said no. Not sure if he was telling the truth, lied to her to protect her or lied to her in a sort of "Darth Vader destroyed Anakin Skywalker" thing. No huge cliffhanger; just Red going back into the shadows, and it looks like Lizzie may be moving to the countryside.
12/3/2013 10:00:14 AM
I thought there was a line in the first episode where the Deputy Chief said something about them being sure that Red wasn't genetically related to Lizzie. I guess I either imagined that, that something somewhere has been faked/altered in their databases, or that they just flat out never bothered to tell Lizzie.Anyway. Renewed for a second season.
12/4/2013 8:55:33 AM
I really enjoy this show. The thing that got my attention the most was when red said "don't trust your husband." Don't know where that's gonna take the show. Bet she doesn't move.
12/4/2013 11:28:41 AM
GREAT SHOW.
12/4/2013 11:56:53 PM
Just got caught up over the past week. The short of it is that I generally like the show and will continue to watch when it picks back up mid-Jan. But I do have some hesitations.I think it has a lot of the short comings of many "post-Lost" big network shows. Mainly a hint of some bigger story/mystery that they tease every few episodes but never really move forward on too much. Is Red her father? What's going on with her husband? Etc. It's really just a "bad guy of the week" show with a veil of an overarching story which keeps people wanting to know more.I loved Lost while it was airing. And even though the show mostly just focused on one or two characters each week off island and on island, it was well done. And they kept enough new "on island" stuff coming that it really kept the mystery and intrigue up in turn. There's nothing wrong with "monster/bad guy of the week" shows. But I'm not a big fan of them personally. There are a lot of bad tropes too. Clearly Red knows something about her husband, but won't just come out and say it or at least give her something that makes it clear. That annoys to me a bit. He continues to warn her, clearly cares about her, but just won't give her something solid.I think there's a fine line to walk there. If they don't answer some of those questions or at least really push those stories forward, it really is just a procedural with a cheap gimmick to keep people on board for the "bigger story". And I think that will cause people to lose interest quick. Actually, by 5th or 6th episode I went from watching the show with my full attention to having it on while doing other things and focusing in more when something that seemed significant occurred. The most recent episode did capture my full attention though. I'm definitely in for the second half of the season, but with some hesitations.
