Anyone have any suggestions on software to use? My work just stuck up a firewall that pretty much only allows http traffic so I can't ssh out to my server any more. I've found a few resources online:http://www.mtu.net/~engstrom/ssh-proxy.phphttp://www.nocrew.org/software/httptunnel.htmlhttp://serverfault.com/questions/163768/vpn-through-only-httpDidn't know if anyone else had some recommendations.

Have you tried using port 443?

No I thought about that. I guess I could give that a try.

Yeah doesn't like that. Hmm.

http://polishlinux.org/apps/ssh-tunneling-to-bypass-corporate-firewalls/ suggests httptunnel

Yeah I was messing with httptunnel with mixed results. I finally just switched my ssh port to 80 and it works fine now.

Can't you do this with PuTTY?

Or cygwin but I really really like bitvise server/client. It has so many features. Port 80 works fine because I'm not running a web server on my home server. I even got socks proxy working with chrome and pidgin.
