I really hope that I'm wrong but to me it honestly looks just like every other cookie cutter horror movie that has been in the theaters the past 10 years.

the poster for this has been up in a back hall at the theater in Asheville for a good 6+ months. I'd probably enjoy it, but don't really feel any need to go to the theater to see it

Is a guy in a kitty cat mask really scary?

It's a lot more character-oriented than the trailer leads one to believe. And the cast has a few indie horror filmmakers which is fun It's also very funny[Edited on August 20, 2013 at 9:10 PM. Reason : .]

Just got back from seeing it...I liked it. However I like pretty much any slasher type horror flick like this. I liked how it had more of a plot than The Strangers. It wasn't as scary as I would have liked though. The scary parts were mainly in the beginning. This movie made me wonder something though (Spoiler ahead)If one of the sons had lived and ended up going to prison, would they have still gotten the money? Or would it have gone to more distant relatives? I just want to know if there's some law saying you can't get an inheritance from someone you killed.Okay spoilers over.

this is on netflix instant watch now, just checked it out, much better than I expected, and a shitload better than other "masked killers break into a house" movies such as The Strangers and The Purge. Had a whole different feel than those 2, and had a couple gunine laugh out loud moments
