It's a complete trap. Actually worse than their normal pizzas, in a smaller size, with fewer toppings and less sauce. Meat trio and spicy chicken for life

I can't remember the last time I went in the freezer section at the grocery store. You still in college or something?
6/24/2013 12:46:39 PM
the freezer section is only for college kids? that's a pretty dumb assertion/troll that i fell for.
6/24/2013 1:58:20 PM
What is there in the frozen section that a healthy adult would eat, ice cream? lolI'm Krallum and I approved this message.
6/24/2013 1:58:56 PM
Yeah seriously? I mean the only time I go there is possibly for frozen veggies if a recipe calls for it. Usually it's better just to get fresh produce. Basically the only sections of a grocery store I go to are produce, dairy for eggs, and meat. I also go into spices on occasion. There's nothing but processed food in the freezer section and 80% of the rest of the store. A good rule of thumb is shop the exterior of a grocery store (excluding freezer section) and you'll be good.
6/24/2013 2:10:33 PM
TIL that if you buy frozen food you are unhealthy.

Harris Teeter has $7.99 pizzas on Mondays btw and if you don't want to wait for their oven you can get one prepped but not baked for the same price."Simply Potatoes" are usually mixed in with french fries and stuff, but only contain one ingredient. I'll pick those up when I'm being lazy.[Edited on June 26, 2013 at 3:29 PM. Reason : ]

Frozen vegetables always taste bad. Fruits aren't as bad. Almost always better to get fresh veggies.
6/26/2013 3:29:22 PM
I only buy fresh buffalo wings
6/26/2013 3:29:51 PM

6/26/2013 3:43:05 PM

yeah, that's what i said. i think
6/26/2013 3:48:22 PM
all the food is real, including the chickendunno what kind of preservatives are in it though
6/26/2013 3:49:25 PM
cool, i was under the impression that most frozen dinners are made with processed meat. but i don't know.
6/26/2013 3:58:30 PM
pretty high in sodium though
6/26/2013 4:03:22 PM
^^ Depends on how you want to define processed, but I'd bet money that meal doesn't contain the shit you posted a picture of/mechanically separated meat.
6/26/2013 4:04:28 PM
also these are the bomb
6/26/2013 4:06:49 PM
Any kind of frozen prepared meal still has preservatives and lots of sodium. Just learn to cook. It's way more rewarding and healthier.
6/26/2013 4:08:45 PM
You're a pretty judgemental dude huh? I thought you might just be trolling us, but your posting in this thread is pretty much par for the course. As far as sodium content goes, that meal has 550 mg. That's not *that* bad for a full meal. It's not too hard to exceed that with home cooking.[Edited on June 26, 2013 at 4:24 PM. Reason : ]

Saw this study recently fwiwNo Health Benefit Seen in Adopting Low Sodium Diethttp://newyork.cbslocal.com/2013/05/15/study-no-health-benefit-seen-in-adopting-low-sodium-diet/
6/26/2013 4:29:38 PM
I eat out the garbage. you people need to step your food knowledge game up. there's no such thing as healthy food. The government has that locked up. They're loosing the reign of regulations and they're putting anything in you and called it food. solvent green is people
6/26/2013 4:29:59 PM
^^Eh kind of a silly viewpoint. The healthier you eat the less sodium you're going to intake naturally but that doesn't mean the less sodium you eat the healthier you will be. It's so much simpler than people make it out to be. Don't eat processed foods and get exercise and you'll be healthy. Limiting or eliminating particular elements in specific foods we eat is silly. Just don't eat shit food.
6/26/2013 4:39:02 PM
yeah it's not a matter of a reduced sodium intake giving you a health benefit. it's a matter of the negative health effects that come with an excessive sodium intake.[Edited on June 26, 2013 at 5:08 PM. Reason : ]
6/26/2013 5:07:04 PM
Well I'd be careful there because if you're healthy and active than excessive sodium intake isn't necessary a bad thing. In fact a lot of people actually take sodium supplements (runners, etc). I think it's more that the diet associated with high sodium intake is more often than not a poor diet. If you eat healthy and are active then you'll either crave salt or get just the right amount. I sweat a lot but also do a good bit of cardio activities and I always crave salt. [Edited on June 26, 2013 at 5:56 PM. Reason : s]
