I haven't had a donut in forever. I remember as a kid/college student I could crush some KK donuts on the reg.

Now its like I'm almost afraid of them.

[Edited on June 6, 2013 at 10:13 PM. Reason : that looks delicious. I love croissants as well]

People are fucking scalping these things in NY...buying for $5 and selling for $20. It started getting bad enough to the point where the bakery limited it to 2 cronuts per customer.

Layered croissant dough in donut shape, with additives, pastry cream, et cetera.

^It also looks like it has been deep fried like a doughnut.

So it's a deep fried croissant, and it must be incredible.

No thank you.

yeah don't bother going until all the hype dies down lol. it's been weeks, though.

they need to be able to create more supply to respond to their demand.. like Georgetown Cupcake. Not sure how much labor is involved to make one of these things but

DO WANT.

Supposedly the thing with cronuts is that they're highly perishable, so there is limit to how much they can do. A lot of it is just them still not making enough, probably artificially to maintain the craze.

i don't understand what so special about this. Why can't all the other bakeries just start selling cronuts? The market is not at work.
