I don't celebrate things I had nothing to do with. That would be borderline schizophrenic.I'm Krallum and I approved this message.

They may very well be correct. The invention of powered flight is pretty unimportant these days anyway.

A picture of some vehicle in the air is not "proof" of anything. That thing certainly looks heavier than air, but there's no reason to believe it's not a fancy hang glider. There's no telling if it was self propelled.I believe the account that it flew several miles is another black mark. The Wright brothers went 860 some feet in their first flight and this guy is going 2 miles 2 years before them?mmhmm

History is highly subjective.

ONE historian unveiled controversial evidence three months ago and they decide that's good enough basis for a law? This shit be ridiculous. I think it's possible that the Wright brothers are wrongly given the first powered flight recognition, but this is not sufficient evidence nor widely embraced by historians, so why pass a law? And what's the partisan motivation for this? Tourism?

I mean, NC legislators have been acting like asses too. It's, like, their job.

Seeing as how modern enthusiasts have only been able to get replicas of his designs with modern engines to fly a few hundred feet, i am gonna go ahead and call bullshit

Funnily enough Glenn Curtis used that same trick to make Langely's old Aerodrome fly, and he laughed all the way to the bank.
