Pretty sweet! But...Still way too heavy, and will probably cost $50k+.

Vette gets camero tail lights...to keep the design language uniform.....Camero gets new lights
3/27/2013 2:31:17 PM
Are those prelude tailights? And I like the way the guy keeps saying "OMG, 500 FUCKING HORSEPOWER...I mean, I just mentioned the Camaro with 580hp, but 500 FUCKING HORSEPOWER."[Edited on March 27, 2013 at 2:52 PM. Reason : ]

+1 for tail/head light lens updates+1 for optional a/c+1 for no radio+1 for weight savings...rear end = prelude...front end = 1g ford fusion

I just like that the factory offers such 'ruggedness'. Makes me look back to the Lancer Evo RS.

White trash rejoice!!
3/27/2013 5:57:08 PM
And the squinty get squintier.I hope they're not applying this look to the whole line. I'm lukewarm on the current Camaro but I can see what they're referencing. This one just looks cheap.
3/27/2013 9:07:34 PM
i hate it.
3/28/2013 12:34:24 AM
nothin says backward white trash more than this pos.
3/28/2013 2:52:27 AM
you're right. Backwards white trash wants a track focused Camaro AND has $50k+ with which to buy one. Damn, I didn't realize how extensive this model is. It even has carbon ceramic brakes standard (unheard of for any car under $150k). The zr1 vette and the z06 have them I think. Both under 150k... But more power to them for putting them on the camaro... Maybe I'll be able to adapt them to the galaxie some day :-)
3/28/2013 8:46:16 AM
^they're options for the Vettes. I said standard
3/28/2013 9:24:03 AM
Will it actually be around 50k or would it be way more?
3/28/2013 10:36:45 AM
I have a difficult time seeing this car sold for more than $50k. That would make it more expensive than the Corvette Sting Ray. And even with all these go fast goodies the base line Corvette would still whip it's ass around a road course.
3/28/2013 12:22:56 PM
its for fat bald white guys (not necessarily rednecks)and not necessarily for the track
3/28/2013 12:41:22 PM
305 section width 19" tires at all four corners. Yeah that's about $2000/set
3/28/2013 1:07:27 PM
19" 305 pirelli's are 500 a tire. I like the look of this car, but who would buy this for 50k? For that price you could buy Corvette....
3/28/2013 1:11:26 PM
God damn there is no e in camaro
3/28/2013 9:09:45 PM
I don't know how many people will buy this to pose in. It'll be pricier, less powerful, and more spartan than the ZL1....and yeah, then it will compete with the Corvette, and I have my doubts about it out lapping it.
3/28/2013 10:08:44 PM
About the same number of people that bought an ss last year. v6 is king
3/28/2013 10:13:40 PM
Used Camaro SS with 6 speed manual and ls3 + procharger would lay a nice whuppin on the ls7, and cost 15-20k less.[Edited on March 29, 2013 at 8:38 AM. Reason : In a drag race...I only go fast in straight lines]
