I had some when I was a kid. Maybe mine just sucked or I never got the hang of it but I couldn't jump more than 6 inches off the ground with these things on. They absorbed all the jumping power I was trying to make with my legs and I just went nowhere fast.They went on the list of major childhood toy disappointments along with the $2 x-ray glasses I ordered out of the back of some magazine, and the gas powered helicopter that was supposed to go up and come down but instead went up and flew off into the sunset never to be seen again.
