I was thinking a bout playing it the other day. I actually have forgotten everything about it but the fact that it was really fun.I remember anti-air was great vs infantry and i think the guy who had artillery strike plus 2 blocks ability was my shit and the last board was insanely hard.I might be thinking about one of its iterations and not dual strike.Dunno but I loved it[Edited on March 15, 2013 at 4:32 PM. only ever played the original advance wars but it was badass

Where's Advance Wars 3DS?
3/28/2013 8:22:49 PM
What I've found on the rumornets is that Days of Ruin sold poorly, so Nintendo's Intelligent Systems division prioritized a new Paper Mario (which I heard sucked) and a new Fire Emblem (which is apparently awesome).

UGH I DIDN'T WANT A HELPFUL ANSWER LEWISJE I WANTED A NEW GAME

have any of the Advance wars either been ported to other systems or adequately emulated?
3/28/2013 9:58:41 PM
Each Advance Wars game was released for only one system (original and Black Hole Rising for GBA, Dual Strike and Days of Ruin for DS), and more generally the Wars games (going back to Famicom Wars) were released for only one system each.Probably the only game you'd have a hard time emulating is Battalion Wars 2 for Wii, next-hardest is Battalion Wars for GameCube (both on Dolphin), and after that are the DS games (DeSmuME); the others are easy (VisualBoyAdvance for the GBA, GBC, and classic GameBoy games, Snes9x for the Super Famicom games, and NESTopia for the Famicom games).

holey rusted metal batman you are a friggin fountain of information i needTO THE PIRATE BAY!
3/28/2013 10:41:47 PM
There are sites devoted to distributing ROMs (cartridge-based games) and ISOs (disc-based games), while all the emulators I just mentioned are 100% legit; the only reason you might need PirateBay or another torrent site is if it takes too long to download an ISO from a cyberlocker.

oh sorry man your previous post was so fucking badass that I've actually been playing AWDS for like fifteen minutes now now im looking for ways to increase the display size as these newfangled monitors are so dense, pixel-wise, the damn thing is like a thumb-nail, but otherwise working wonderfully on my PC no less.using "no$gba emulator"it seems it is more than GBA and is, in fact, the titsGot any tips on how I can increase screen percentage of the display without dropping my resolution?[Edited on March 28, 2013 at 11:40 PM. Use DeSmuME like I posted earlier: NO$GBA (originally developed as a GBA emulator, but best known as the first DS emulator that ran games at full speed) hasn't been updated in 5 years, and the unofficial "NO$Zoomer" is sketchy at best.
