Not sure how collegiate comradery is a bad thing versus some inane reason you cheered for a team growing up. If you can't find a reason to cheer for the school you actually attended, you're just a weirdo. Plain and simple.

Very much true.

My dad was a crazy fucking drunk. But he died about a year after the dean dome flight from a massive heart attack.

He was actually a manager at Dillon Supply (C.A. Dillon's steel company) so we pretty much went to all the games in the late 70s and early eighties.
