the only special jersey promotions we've ever done have been all black (on the road), which is a trend that's really old, and those throwbacks with the nets, which is another old trend.

we could do so much more if we could get nike and start making a STATEment with pro combat and other special uniforms. these are the uniforms of the future and we better get on it unless we want to look like we're wearing some cheap ass russell athletic high school uniforms like athens drive.

I'm all for going to Nike. Our jerseys have looked retarded for a long time. The Jimmy V ones looked good because of how clean they are, and I saw tons of people wearing them at the game last night. I can't find any that aren't XXXL anywhere.

At the very least, keep the STATE logo like the Jimmy V jersey and lose the block S in it.

Look at the sort of stuff you see recruits wearing at camps and recruitment events.

Those games and events cater to getting recruites jakked up to play their heart out. Also, they use the latest technology.

Also, do you think boring adidas uniforms would ever be featured as being "ELITE"? Would recruits rather play at ELITE schools or "traditional" schools?



Who ever heard of Oregon before they hooked up with Nike?

And Under Armor isn't the same. It's not a GLOBAL brand with superstar appeal tied to the greatest athletes ever.
