I'd like suggest the idea of adding a My Recent Posts button in the Message Boards header.

A streamlined way to sort your recent posts and track threads would be nice.

In that case there is no reason for any of the buttons in the reply window... all tags and smilies can be typed.

True because typing 6 characters is the same as typing an entire URL that can be found with 2 clicks.

I see how it can be done it 2 clicks, but one click is better. I think it would enhance the user exp. surprisingly.

2 clicks, but you still have to type your username. contrast that with a link on your main page. one click, and no typing.
