Some of the ones on my playlist:Bing CrosbyElla FitzgeraldLouis ArmstrongJimmy SmithI think everyone needs the Vince Guaraldi Trio - A Charlie Brown Christmas. Fantastic little Christmas album.Although the amount of Christmas material he has released is out of control (~100 songs), there are dozens of great songs within the Sufjan Stevens Songs For Christmas series. Some fun originals and Sufjan-esque takes on classics that are part of my regular Christmas rotation now.Dustin Kensrue from Thrice released a good album entitled The Good Night is Still Everywhere that is on my list as well.Chris Kincaid out of Charlotte has been in a lot of regional bands over the years (hopesfall, laurelei, one amazin' kid, etc.) but his Christmas album he put out several years ago is really fun and is currently up on bandcamp I think for streaming/buying I believe.I also love She & Him's - A Very She & Him Christmas that came out last year. I think Zooey's voice works really well with those Christmas songs. However, her Elf version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" is MUCH better than the version they do on this album and I also have that one on my list. Then I have individual songs from:The Waitresses, Smashing Pumpkins, The Pogues, Copeland, Jimmy Eat World, Weezer, The Kinks, DCFC, Built to Spill and several others that I can't recall from memory right now because I forgot my ipod today.I also have a couple oddball tracks that get mixed in as well that aren't directly Christmas related but may be New Year's related or Winter related, or just mention something Christmas or New Years related in the title or lyrics and thus I personally associate the holidays with them. Some examples are The Dismemberment Plan's "The Ice of Boston" and Eisley's "The Winter Song"[Edited on December 17, 2012 at 9:18 AM. Reason : ]

Looking back over my ipod, I forgot to mention Dismemberment Plan's cover of "This Christmas" If you like them you'll probably like it. If you don't like them you probably won't.

"Little Saint Nick" is a great song (in a chord modulation sense). That McCartney abomination is the worst song ever written.[Edited on December 24, 2012 at 11:25 AM. Reason : 3]
