So I'll be transporting my car (E93 335i) on a flatbed trailer behind a U Haul truck and I'm thinking of buying transport wrap, http://www.transportwrap.comHas anyone used this before? is it easy to take off once applied?

Behind a uhaul truck? you should be fine... probably cheaper to just go the painter's tape route IMO.

just buy a decent car cover, it apparently costs as much as the transport wrap will.

^Definitely don't use a car cover. If it's loose fitting it will flap and cause way more abrasive damage than a little road rash from the uhaul truck. You might also want to call a local marina, that transport wrap looks like the same stuff they use when winterizing boats. They'll have heatguns and rolls of the stuff and will do a better job than you could.I second the painter's tape idea.

Just verify mud flaps on the Uhaul truck. If it doesn't have 'em request a new truck that does. If they question your request tell 'em that mud flaps are a requirement by DOT and it's your responsibility once you rent the truck that it's in compliance. The mudflaps will protect against thrown stones. Other than that it'll be no different than driving the car on the road.
