Is it really only $1.50 if I want to pay with my credit card? What happens if I overpay my bill? Will they just apply it to future bills or refund me?Thanks.

They should issue credits for overpayment. Call now, operators are standing by (for times between 8 am and 5 pm EST)

Duke Energy actually has a very functional site. I was quite impressed. You should be able to set up all of that online and all that info would be on their site I'd think.

Wat? How does that work?

I feel like its pretty easy. I've accidentally overpaid utility bills before (but down here in SC...or I would have tried to help you out Dave!)...and they just credit your account for whatever you overpaid. And I always overpaid by credit card online.I also always overpay my credit card bill on purpose....just for psychological reasons. I don't like seeing huge credit card bills and that won't happen if I overpay. Weird...
