can you link me or list some places - I'll prob be in the area for a bit just looking for stupid stuff like CDs, possibly records, older video game equipment, crap like that

I know ed mckay's is ok, though a lot of their stuff is too expensive

Bargain Box in Cameron Village
Cause for Paws on Crabtree Blvd
Cause for Paws on S. Saunders St.
Dorcas Thrift Shop in Cary
Several Goodwill locations...Downtown Raleigh, Brier Creek, Cary
Durham Rescue Mission's Bargain Center on 70 a mile or two past Brier Creek

There's also another thrift store across the street from the Cause for Paws on Crabtree Blvd, but I can't remember the name.

There's a place called Trade It on Glenwood Ave over by the Crabtree area that had a Sega Dreamcast the last time I went in.

That place is freaking awesome, and it's right by campus. Make sure you check it out.

Definitely check out the Cause for Paws places if you haven't before

Goodwill can go fuck themselves

Trade It on Glenwood will have some gaming stuff for ya. Decent prices for the most part.

If you're in North Raleigh, North Raleigh Ministries Thrift Store is pretty decent

Maybe look into whatever the area's biggest pawn stores are and check them out

Trade it is fucking terrible.

I clean out the video games at Ed McKay every time I'm back in NC. Their prices are 30-50% lower on video games than anywhere in the northwest.
