I knew of a machine shop off Six Forks Road (east of Wake Forest Rd) that would turn them for $5/rotor but I'm not sure it's still there (this was over 6 years ago).

Gower's off S Saunders. If they're already off the car then most O'reilly's Auto Parts does them, too, but I think it's $10 a pop plus you need to be sure the guy doing it isnt a total idiot and wont rush through it. I tend to use them only for a weekend job when no one else is open.

^I second this.

I occasionally work for O'Reilly. There are a LOT of asstards in the stores that don't know how to use the brake lathe. And they have AccuTurn lathes. which sorta suck.

awesome, thanks for the heads up guys.

and yes, Chief, i'll have them off the car already. so no, it doesn't need to be a shop with a lift and stuff. anywhere with a good lathe, competent employees and decent prices will do fine.

You can also try a Sears auto center. I've taken mine there a few times with good results. Seems like they were around $10-$12 a pop.
