Got a late 2011 mbp w/ssd and i thought safari was a little slower for a few sights. Also, my CAC reader doesn't work on all sights now.

computer will be a little slower for the first 10 min or so after upgrading...needs to index files.i definitely havent noticed any slowdowns...although sometimes when i wake up the computer it takes a while to connect to my wifi...which is annoying

This reminds me...I need to learn osx and stop using windows 100% of the time on my mba

i have a friend that does thatI used to when i fist got a maci know i sound like such a fanboy...but osx is a MUCH better os than windows. for my workflow when taking pictures of my work and posting them in galleries or sending emails, osx is twice as fast as windows for me. with mission control I have 3 desktops open, on the left is cs5, middle is safari, right is mail makes it really easy to open and edit and post/mail the pics. the upgraded version of safari included with ML is pretty much perfect imo. they fixed the back gesture so instead of loading a cached version of the previous page and then immediately refreshing and bringing you to the top of the page, it keeps you right where you were when you clicked the last link...(not sure if that made any sense, but if you use safari and do the two finger swipe for back...youll see what i mean)there are a couple other nice additions that stuck out to me..but i cant think of them at the moment.the overall speed increase is my favorite part though. internet is unbelievably fast (to the point that I though it was loading cached pages)[Edited on July 28, 2012 at 11:07 AM.
