I'd like to get into pickling, since I have extra veggies this year. Anyone have any experience with the hot water bath process? Any tips you'd pass along? Recipes to try? as long as you hear the pop and/or the dimple on the lid is sucked down you're good to goput jalapenos in it for a little kick

i made some last year that were freaking awesome...they were "sweet dills" with some red pepper thrown in...not super sweet (because i don't like those), but just enough to accent the pepperi'll post the recipe when i get home
