LMFAO and Tanlines are the latest buzz...
5/7/2012 11:35:12 AM
i hate the tanlines song that's been on SiriusXM U.i'd rather see LMFAO tbh.
5/7/2012 1:09:19 PM
considering going to this for the first time this year. how far in advance should lodging be secured?
5/10/2012 6:39:46 PM
I got mine 2 days before but had to stay outside the city proper. $60/night for dual occupancy with kitchenette and free breakfast and internet (and that year had disco biscuits, big boi, girltalk, and a ton of other big name folk)
5/10/2012 7:31:47 PM
hoping for Sigur Ros or Kraftwerk or Animal Collectivefeel like there's a good chance at least one of those 3 will be there
5/15/2012 1:11:10 PM
can'tfuckingwait for this lineup. if they bring back any repeats, i hope it's m83. also,
5/15/2012 6:02:21 PM
I think AnCo is a given at this point, honestly. Kraftwerk I'm not sure about, but it wouldn't matter, because there's no way I'm not going...
5/15/2012 6:18:21 PM
Kraftwerk is the biggest stretch but if they were to play a festival this year Moogfest would be the perfect fit for them imo.other two are just guesses since they have new albums on the way and members of their bands played it in 2010
5/15/2012 6:40:31 PM
moogfest seems to always get shit that seemed like a huge stretch beforehand though...devo, hot chip, massive attack, tangerine dream, suicide, brian eno, etc. shit that just seems to come way out of left field.that's the only reason i think kraftwerk makes sense
5/15/2012 7:11:48 PM
Squarepusher would seem to make sense with US dates right after Moogfest:http://consequenceofsound.net/2012/05/squarepusher-announces-u-s-tour-dates/

If lmfao conflicts with nothing interesting I'm totally going. And I'm gonna smile the whole time. And have fun. Judge it.
5/16/2012 10:03:44 AM
i will be pissed if they fork over the money for lmfao. what is wrong with you guys
5/16/2012 10:20:55 AM
I'd say the Knife and Beach House are in the cards...
5/16/2012 3:20:24 PM
5/16/2012 3:33:15 PM
^^i'll be shocked if they get the knife. don't they like never ever tour? that'd be amazing.
5/16/2012 5:07:59 PM
i shot LMFAO at ultra 2010. I think they played 4 songs total.
5/16/2012 5:09:10 PM
5/16/2012 5:30:48 PM
The xx!!!
5/17/2012 12:21:23 PM
There's a rumor going around that Gorillaz is playing this. There was an article on Pitchfork not too long ago where Albarn didn't totally dismiss upcoming projects/shows as Gorillaz. [Edited on May 20, 2012 at 4:41 PM. Reason : k]
5/20/2012 4:32:22 PM
Yeasayer is all but confirmed.
5/29/2012 10:19:06 AM
what in the fuck are they doing to this festival? fail all around in the updates
6/21/2012 2:53:39 PM
Yeah it looks like they're fucking this festival up in a pretty major way.Depending on how much cheaper the tickets are and the quality of the acts it could still work out, but all signs point to fail at this point in time.
6/21/2012 7:00:15 PM
Justice is playing on the Thursday before this year's festival. Sounds like it's sort of presented by the people who do Moogfest but is not actually a part of Moogfest. Tix are $37, which is pretty damn pricey for a Justice show. I'll still probably go, I've been wanting to see them for a while.

7/9/2012 8:39:40 PM
Not confirmed but being talked about: Daft Punk, Orbital
7/10/2012 1:57:37 PM
The xx might as well be confirmed.
7/16/2012 12:27:48 PM
no way in hell Daft Punk is playing
7/16/2012 1:02:15 PM
7/16/2012 1:27:15 PM
I wouldn't care in the least if one of around 60 acts for Moogfest was lmfao. I guess I could have said credibility killer to hopscotch in 2010 if that's the case.
7/16/2012 2:10:23 PM
this thread is the fourth result if you google search "moogfest lineup rumors"
7/16/2012 2:51:22 PM
7/16/2012 4:50:17 PM
New Order all but confirmed.
7/23/2012 4:43:57 PM
Orbital confirmed. Don't count daft punk out just yet, either...
7/27/2012 12:18:51 PM
The only thing I can remember from when I used to listen to Orbital is that Butthole Surfers sample.
7/27/2012 6:01:50 PM
Didn't this already happen this year?I'm Krallum and I approved this message.
7/27/2012 6:05:24 PM
hoping for the xx.
7/27/2012 9:17:25 PM
Richie Hawtin ftw
7/27/2012 11:13:17 PM
Lineup out Monday. I guess New Order isn't planning to attend now? Honestly, who gives a crap...Not interested in going to a rave anyway...
8/1/2012 8:50:15 AM
how does New Order = rave?
8/1/2012 11:05:23 AM
Not sure if it has been posted but Pimus is going to be there. It is listed as a tour date on their web site
8/1/2012 11:41:17 AM
Pimus sucks.
8/1/2012 12:27:43 PM
Primus? gross
8/1/2012 12:32:02 PM
Have you never heard or realized that New Order is a heavy influence on the rave scene? I guess I should have just said that their latter career is pretty bad in my opinion, and if Kraftwerk was still stuck in playing things like from the Mix, then I wouldn't care for that either...[Edited on August 1, 2012 at 11:27 PM. Reason : k]
8/1/2012 11:26:42 PM
New Order is a much heavier influence on way more than rave culture
8/2/2012 12:13:35 AM
I was unaware that raves included live drums and lots of guitars.
