anyone gotten it recently? we're starting a club at law school to provide training and materials for getting certified. i'm part of the few who are hoping to get certified before the end of the summer so we can help train new members next semester. i took a practice test not having read any material and was surprised at how easy some of the questions are if you're just a knowledgeable geek like me (just think most secure). others of course were very difficult but it made it seem a lot less scary. 6 hour tests like this should be nothing after 1L of law school.

anyway, if anyone took it, i'd love to hear what materials you found worked best, we have a small budget to purchase for the group...

Teskking that bitch. I got mine back in 2008, hasnt really done anythign for me yet... But i cant really practice with it.

Also, remember, you want to choose the "Managment" answer not the Technical answer. Its more of a managment cert, not a practicing security cert.

if the question is how to secure a database, the answer is more likely to be deveop a security plan including pen testing, then actually performing the pen testing.
