See the craigslist posting for photos. Audi A4 99.5 volcano black 1.8t automatic transmission with awd Quattro and ecru (tan) leather interior (162,000 miles). I have the original window sticker and title in hand for the vehicle. The car was originally bought and driven in Florida, I'm the 2nd owner of the car and I've had it here in Raleigh since 2004. The vehicle came from the factory with the sport package which includes fog lights, 16" wheels, tuned suspension and steering wheel paddle transmission shifting. It features some additional add-ons including 20% ceramic 3M window tinting (installed by a former Formula 1 employee), oem Audi all weather rubber floor mats, python remote start / keyless entry, and a oem Audi RS4 grille. Its been debadged on the back except for the 4 Audi rings above the license plate. One piece headlights have been cleared out and there is no amber bulbs or pieces of plastic. The rear tail lights have the dual fog mod done so you can press a button on the dash to cut those on when necessary. Tires have at least 60-75% of tread remaining. Recently a brand new battery, windshield wiper blades, and headlight bulbs have been installed. The car right now is in running order and can get you from point A to point B. It does have some electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic issues. The transmission is operational but it is shifting hard. The engine has a head gasket oil leak which requires checking the oil levels occasionally. Electrically the vehicle does not have ABS or Airbags operating due to those modules going bad. Sunroof is not operational and has been sealed to prevent leaks. Front bumper has a few scratches and is missing 2 small front grille pieces around the right front fog light. Drivers' side front seat leather needs to be recovered where your butt sits. Headliner has been recovered along with matching black fabric on the a-pillars. It gets fairly decent gas mileage averaging between 21-28mpg but does require you run premium w/the turbo. Price is $2,750, feel free to email me if you are a serious and interested buyer.

Please explain why any sane person would want this car. Total engine and transmission failure is imminent and gas is about to hit $5/gallon and it requires premium fuel. It has no air bags or anti-lock brakes but I suppose the silver lining is when the engine does fail unexpectedly going 65 and you are unable to control the vehicle and crash it will at least be a quick death as your neck snaps and your face smashes into the steering wheel.

Oh, and at least it has new windshield wipers...

Looks like NADA average trade in is $2k, rough trade in is $1200. Clean retail (which this is obviously far from), is $4400.
