Marathon rewatching of S1 in anticipation of tomorrow night. Glad I am too because I had forgotten about a lot of the evidence from the first couple episodes. Also rewatching for signs of you know who being sneaky...

it's got to do a lot in the 2 hour premiere to redeem itself after the second half of season 1 and the finale.
3/31/2012 10:23:58 PM
I'll maybe watch the last episode. We all know that every single person they will introduce and make us think is the baddie will be replaced up until the very end. It should end with a flashback to the red haired cop killing the girl and making a troll face.
3/31/2012 10:25:31 PM
I didn't realize this started back up this weekend. I'll record it and check back to see if there is any promise compared to the end of last season before spending the time watching it. I'm rooting for it, I just hope they don't drag the Larson case too far into season2.
3/31/2012 11:47:46 PM
I saw an advertisement for this show, and I swear I saw Cersei Lannister. Did they get the same actress?
4/1/2012 9:37:15 PM
Lol this show was awesome and then they killed it in the finaleI'm Krallum and I approved this message.
4/1/2012 9:47:59 PM
FULLONCONSPIRACYi liked it alot except for the line about "this is just like the last time you were sick" and i was like great now it's Homeland 2.0
4/1/2012 10:19:02 PM
The show is much better than the final episodes of last season.I've read some reviews that describe this show as "moody." And I think we should be clear: This is the most depressing show on TV in a long time. It's not moody...it's flat out dark and depressing and not in some sort of stylish way.
4/6/2012 5:21:22 PM
Under what circumstances are you all happy with the finale of this season. I can't imagine one that is satisfactory. Either A) Random character is introduced halfway through this season and turns out to be the killer, or B) Person we've known all along turns out to be the killer for some ridiculous reason.Either of those are shit.
4/6/2012 5:35:03 PM
^I totally agree, and I already started complaining about that potential last season. I'm still curious though. Gonna stick with it just to be pissed by the end.
4/6/2012 5:47:46 PM
This show will go on for years. I feel like I am watching Lost all over again.
4/24/2012 11:00:42 AM
I've watched the first 2 episodes of this season (and not as they aired). Is it worth watching the others so far?It really pissed me off when they introduced this new person that apparently works for Stan that we've never seen before (nor has Linden since I think she would have recognized the tattoo). Did they really not question the 5 employees of his moving company?
4/24/2012 1:02:28 PM
This show is getting on my nerves. Like it's been mentioned I don't know where its going - all the plausible endings at this time seem lame. And the main character being a nagging bitch isn't encouraging me to watch this show. In fact I'll be happy when she loses custody of her son. She's neglecting the fuck out of him
4/25/2012 1:20:22 PM
I can't stop watching this terrible show. Fuck you, The Killing.
4/30/2012 8:25:33 PM
is anyone still watching this? Is it worth watching at all? Also, has anyone seen the danish version (the original)?
5/20/2012 11:01:14 PM
I only watched maybe 1.5 episodes this seasons, but the finale was last night and the killer(s) were revealed. I read about, it was..........Jamie - the douchey campaign manager, and Terry (rosie's aunt) helped, but didn't know it was Rosie.
6/18/2012 12:05:09 PM
^you should probably say ***SPOILER ALERT*** or something, that gap isn't very bigI watched every episode. It had its moments, but I would not recommend it to anyone.
6/18/2012 2:30:39 PM
i can't edit it now. but having participated in the season 1 thread and this one, and being the person who bttt-d the thread once a month the past two months, I don't think anyone will mind too much.but... If a mod reads this, could you please add a "spoiler" tag to my post.
6/18/2012 2:46:43 PM
yeah. honestly you may be saving 26 hours of someones time if they do read it. not that I'm bitter or anything
6/18/2012 5:13:48 PM
Questionable pacing at times, but super fucking awesome ending. Well-acted series. I also like how it was shot
6/18/2012 11:42:42 PM
more like well-acted by the guy who plays holder. if this show aired at any other time of the year i probably wouldn't have watched it.
6/19/2012 5:40:21 PM
agreed. other than holder this season blew and the finale was disappointing. and i started the damn thread.
6/19/2012 8:50:41 PM
yeah, to be fair to the actors, they didn't have much to work with. And it was directed well enough. Shows how important writing is.Apparently the finale got 22% less viewership than the episode before, which seems crazy.Goodbye, Rosalita.[Edited on June 20, 2012 at 3:42 AM. Reason : .]
6/20/2012 3:40:58 AM
So is this show over? Like, for good? The whole premise was about finding the killer of Rosie. And they did...so now what?
6/20/2012 11:19:59 AM
Liked the first season, second season was terrible though. Good concept they could've easily wrapped up in a single season. Agree about the writing though, acting was solid.
6/20/2012 9:23:35 PM
^^ i don't think it's been renewed as of yet. I've read that the show-runners/writers have ideas for a third season and a new crime. But again, it's not been picked up yet.If it were picked up, I would consider giving it another shot since this case is over. The premise is not bad at all (following a case for a long period), but the execution sucked. The red herrings were extremely transparent. They throw one out in the last five minutes of an episode and throw it away in the first five minutes of the next. Stretching it out over 2 seasons really wasn't a good idea, especially considering the first season wasn't that great to begin with.idk, maybe they've learned some things and can correct those since they effectively have a clean slate now. The cast is pretty decent. The acting was definitely not the problem with this show. Maybe a new showrunner?

Well that sucks. I actually really enjoyed this show, and Holder was one of my favorite characters out of any recent series.Stretching the case over 10 or 12 episodes did seem a little much though; they could've done well with half seasons.
7/30/2012 11:35:38 AM
sad news, my girlfriend really liked the show and i liked the darkness and hopelessness of it.i hope it gets picked up by like an HBO or something and it can get even grittier because it would actually fit the mood.i do agree that dragging out one case got a little tiresome and people probably wouldnt like that, but it was something different than the rest of the crime dramas and i can say that i appreciate it
7/30/2012 3:59:17 PM
I liked this show as well, except for the awful finaleI'm Krallum and I approved this message.
7/30/2012 5:22:31 PM
great premise, really good cast... horrible execution imo.
7/30/2012 6:32:29 PM
Haha, yeah that's what I meant
7/30/2012 7:06:30 PM
I like Holder best part of the show. and i didn't know he was a big Swedish actor. this is a Swedish movie he stared in coming to America.[Edited on July 30, 2012 at 11:25 PM. Reason : Snabba Cash - Swedish title.]
7/30/2012 11:24:38 PM
this fucking show will not die.
11/9/2012 12:31:07 PM
Yeah, I read last night that they were going to have a third season. Partially funded by netflix apparently.
11/9/2012 12:38:00 PM
nice
11/9/2012 1:03:58 PM
anyone watch? i want to go watch the first and most of season 2 again.I really like this show and the premiere IMO was good. Nice to see Sara smiling in the beginning. I like the little Bullet character a lot, hate what happened to her. Look forward to future scenes with her and Holder
6/7/2013 8:45:55 PM
I am watching! It looks like there is going to be way more Holder so I'm on the hook for the whole season.
6/8/2013 1:11:25 PM
I thought the show had a lot of potential all through season 1, but was a little let down overall. I watch some of season 2, but stopped.I think I'm going to give season 3 a shot for a few episodes since they've gotten away from the Rosie case and could possibly make some good adjustments. Is there anything from season 2 that I should definitely know?
6/8/2013 1:13:37 PM
i rerad an interview with mirielle that assured that the case would be solved in 12 episodes and the pacing has improved, like she understood why it grew tedious for some people and so did the producers, etc.that fuckin guy playing the guy on death row...hes really good i enjoy watching his scenesthat last scene of this episode where she found all the bodies was freakin crazy, i love how they shot that from when she compared the photo to the location..to the long slow walk...to the discovery of a couple of bodies (i presume??) to the long shot of what looked like a battlefield strewn with corpsespretty cool [Edited on June 8, 2013 at 1:27 PM. Reason : ^i definitely feel like im missing a lot of details; i need to watch all the eps]
6/8/2013 1:26:39 PM
Thanks.I'm going to at least read up on each of the episodes then before watching the first episode. This show (the premise and characters) has potential to be really good, so I'm glad to hear they acknowledged what many saw as the big flaws.
