thats part of the inaccuracy...I said something along the lines of "generally it gets the mileage of your average sedan but when I'm getting on it it's more comparable to a mustang." I've done a good amount of work to the motor, it's fast as hell in a straight line but my mileage is definitely not what it was stock. also, most mustangs (I know, not the"good" ones) do much better than 12 mpg
