Read about this guy some time ago and he seemed pretty interesting, but just yesterday I saw on http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/porsche-drendel-family-collection-2012-02-15 that he died and his collection was sold. What I didn't see in any reading about him was what he did for a living to afford 10 mil worth of Porsches and race. He was only 35. I did see that his dad was CEO of CommScope and a high level guy at other companies in the Hickory area...I guess Frank (the dad) just handed out the money to his son? Anyone ever get to see his collection?

yeah if i was rich id figure out a way to make that 917/30 street legal and use it as my daily driver.

don't have to be rich to do that

just have lots and lots of spare time
