Have you listened to any of the last few releases from [Chris] Clark? Turning Dragon, Totems Flare, or even any of the older releases? If you can get down with AFX, he's got a new pseudonym that isn't being openly accepted as him...you can try Steinvord if so.I've tried Bonobo but it didn't stick and was so long ago I can't remember it. But the "electronic" designation is so broad and fails to address the vast pool of sub-genres. Do you care to elaborate, or am I getting trolled ("good electronic music)?I doubt you've heard of him, but you can try looking up Milieu, an electronic musician with many monikers, depending on which style of electronic music he's releasing. He's based out of Columbia, SC and is a really great guy. A lot of his more melodic stuff has a very playful feel to it, then he's got ambient, noise, and everything inbetween.http://www.milieu-music.com/This forum is mostly centered with regards to the better-known IDM musicians (AFX, Plaid, BoC, Autechre), but if you look in the "new releases" sub-forum, you can find a lot of discussion of various (mostly electronic) musicians' releases. Most threads with multiple pages deal with artists that tend to have music that appeals to larger audiences...if you're trying for a little discovery.http://forum.watmm.com/forum/16-new-%26-upcoming-releases/[Edited on February 14, 2012 at 9:53 PM. The track I like best from Clark (haven't heard anything since Totems Flare) is "Gob Coitus" from Empty the Bones of You (2003): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORoXCUc8f0MThe album version is better IMO.If you like the video more than the song, you may also be interested in the director's first video, for "Hayling" from FC Kahuna - Machine Says Yes (2002): http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x86jds_fc-kahuna-hayling_musicWith that said, IMO what Krallum seems to regard as "good electronic music" is stuff from Ninja Tune, and to that I sayand ask whether you've ever heard anything from Amon Tobin pre-2003; basically Out from out Where (2002) was mixed, everything after that was worse than what came before, and the previous stuff was golden, especially Permutation (1998).
