Does anyone have the expertise to build an emulator with SNES, N64, SEGA, etc and games built into it and plugs straight into the TV with a controller?I can't find this on the netz.

I feel like a sega Dreamcast could satisfy 80% if not all, or just a PC with controller and dvi to hdmi cable

yea i've got NES, SNES, and Genesis discs for my dreamcast, that work pretty well if i remember correctly -- been a while since i've used them.

Couldn't the Wii do this?

So what you want is a controller with built-in emulator and games that plugs into the tv via AV in/hdmi/etc

Run your computer into your tv through hdmi/dvi/vga/svideo.Problem solved.

^ That would be the most versatile solution. You can do a fair amount with a jailbroken Wii as well, I think.

a CFW psp that's any model but the very original should be sufficient as well as portable

A Raspberry Pi should be able to do this on the cheap when they come out.
