I have never had this problem since I don't play anything.Where do people who play instruments like to go to practice that's on campus (preferably inside)? Does that music building let anyone in, or do you have to plan something in advance? I can't think of any "bang your instrument" area of the library.Somebody has to have this figured out.

You can sign up for a room with the music department. They have pianos, or you can practice another instrument in them.

I've played in Price's music rooms while my husband had orchestra. I imagine that's what everyone else does.

if you are a student, you can go to the music building. They have practice rooms with pianos, but the pianos generally suck at this point. Plus, many of the rooms have been taken over for other uses, such as offices for groups and professors. There's probably only 3 or 4 rooms left that you can actually use for practice.

Yep. You just have to present a student ID, and they'll give you a key to one of the practice rooms.

shit, you gotta get a key now? dang

The ones with the keys have the nicer pianos. If you want to use the crappy pianos, then you don't need a key. However, you could also just go use the piano in Caldwell. I did that too, when no one else was around.

I just played keyboards in my apartment for fun, but it would have been cool to have access to a piano.

Dabney 222 is solid for loud instruments, as well.
