I think this could work for lazy people too, but taking down your drunken relative's xmas lights probably counts as community service

can't go wrong with this...

there are others that were highlighted in the slideshow, but these were my favorite

ABC store is having some decent sells too. Most of the sails are mail in rebates, but any alcohol on cell is a good sale if you ask me!

This is the best thing ever for a wine drinker if for some reason they don't already have one.

I got one of those silicone shot glass molds for Christmas 2 years ago.

I use it all the time. Mostly because my ice machine broke and I just freeze some shot glasses to put in my drinks instead of buying ice trays.

well a few of them can be for non-alcoholics, but it would be funny to watch a drunk person figure it out .... still cool and I like it

Last year, I went to the ABC store on my way to Charlotte and bought all of my gifts for mom, stepdad, and sisters. Everyone got a fifth of his or her favorite liquor (Grey Goose, Luksusova, Bombay Sapphire, and some random rum). Needless to say, they were very pleased, but it feels like a cop out if I do it again this year.

It is awesome. But it's hard to get them looking as perfect as that picture, there's always a few air bubbles, plus it looks like ice instead of frosted glass.

I don't know about the tetris one but I also got a space invaders ice cube tray and it makes ice that's way too small. Melts in seconds.

Makers Mark sent me a ice ball tray a few years ago. It's plastic and probably cost $.25 to make, but it does a decent enough job.

But just think, you could have spent a thousand dollars on something that does the same thing slightly better!

How will people know how much of a connoisseur you are unless you spend outragous amounts of money on simple gadgets?

I know it wouldn't be a perfect sphere and all, but it seems like you could just use a water balloon for equivalent results.

Das Boot is 2 liters of beer, not 3. I'm not sure if there's a "standard" size foot but the glass they're made of isn't that thick. I've never seen one for sale for less than $50-60.

Very easy. The ice is pretty thick and the tray is silicone and very flexible. Don't even need warm water.

In fact the shooters themselves are pretty tough unless you drop them or slam them. You won't break them with just your hands unless you're trying to.

I got one of those Cirrus presses last summer finally. The 2.75". It's pretty dope. Usually entertains people when I have them over for cocktails. Sadly these days, I generally drink my bourbon neat, but again, it's a fun, unique toy.

[Edited on February 9, 2013 at 10:55 AM. Reason : no instagram direct linking huh]

I also have two of these on the way. Looking forward to seeing what fun things I can make with them
