It's becoming apparent that they're one of Carrier IQ's biggest customers for "law enforcement" purposes. No real surprise of course; even the county mounties can log in to verizon.com and track cellphones without a court order these days and American companies have been selling the equipment to hack blackberries to brutal foreign regimes for years. But this is a little sloppy, I'd say.

Do you have a link or anything about this? I heard the rumor, just would like to read a source.Doesn't surprise me though. Just another reason why the public should be pushing for an end to the Patriot Act. From now on, when I want to voice my political dissent to people, I'm just going to send them a hand written letter in cursive in the mail.
