Brolin's Tomme Lee Jones impression is dead on (well at least for the 2 seconds you see it)
12/12/2011 3:23:26 PM
that was a pretty good impression
12/12/2011 3:29:41 PM
hahahaha, I gotta admit, that brolin impression was awesome
12/12/2011 3:33:02 PM
Tommy Lee Jones looks much younger here than he has recently...and Will Smith doesn't look like he's aging at all.
12/12/2011 3:33:09 PM
It might be the second biggest flop of 2012, after John Carter of course.
12/12/2011 3:43:53 PM
^ Doubt it MiB2 sucked, but still made ~400 million. Jones and Smith have a shit load of star power and can bring in people just because they're in it.
12/12/2011 3:47:33 PM
i'll be seeing.
12/12/2011 3:53:53 PM
MiB2 made significantly less money than the first movie with a significantly higher budget. The budget on the third one is even bigger (reportedly $215 million), and I think that combined with waning interest in the franchise could equal disaster.

12/12/2011 3:55:32 PM
It'll be 10 years since the last MiB movie, never underestimate nostalgia and remembering things as better than they actually were. Tron Legacy is a good example of this.

The second one's fatal flaw was giving David Cross meaningful screen time. While he works in a vacuum, he's poison to any mainstream production.
12/12/2011 4:12:27 PM
Also I feel the need to point out that Tommy Lee Jones in no way has "a shit ton of star power that will bring people in just because he's in a movie"
12/12/2011 4:23:26 PM
This movie is going to make a ton of money. No way it flops.
12/12/2011 4:29:09 PM
^^ beat me to itextremely loose interpretations of star power ITT
12/12/2011 4:42:58 PM
Tommy Lee Jones is huge in Italy
12/12/2011 4:47:17 PM
I don't see this flopping. Will Smith is too big, even in a dated franchise film like this. now would it do Independence Day: 2 numbers? no way, and that's why he needs to do that next.Welcome to Earf
12/12/2011 5:06:21 PM
I hear Jeff Goldblum's holding up the production because he wants equal billing
12/12/2011 5:10:47 PM
12/12/2011 5:13:20 PM
I'm a big fan of the series and will be seeing this ...
12/12/2011 5:57:33 PM
I will see this, and more than likely enjoy it, but damn- my facebook friends are about to bust a nut over this trailer... I hope it doesn't get over hyped
12/12/2011 6:49:17 PM
I've always liked J from the cartoon a bit better. He's much more of a smartass.
12/12/2011 7:04:22 PM
I think Will Smith has lost some of his luster due to Willow Smith, Jada, his scientology garbage, and his awkward Colbert interview.
12/12/2011 7:26:12 PM
will smith is boring
12/12/2011 7:59:48 PM
12/12/2011 8:23:10 PM
ahhhhh!! no way... love will smith <3 and I love MIB, I can't help it.
12/12/2011 8:54:39 PM
This will do more than MIB II. Enough time has passed
12/12/2011 9:25:38 PM
I wonder if Will Smith will release a rap song to go with this film.On a side note, the Men in Black ride at Universal Studios is really fun.
12/13/2011 8:47:31 AM
This shit will bank

I won't pay money to see this, but once it shows on tnt, I will enjoy it then. Plenty of people will pay, this won't be a flop; maybe not the great numbers of the first MIB, but money will be made.

1/18/2012 1:32:38 PM
seriously? who are these stupid fucks making M. Night movies gross so much money? He hasn't made a good movie in over a decade.
1/18/2012 1:37:22 PM
I wonder if Will Smith will release a rap pop song to go with this film.
1/18/2012 1:45:16 PM
rather see bad boys 3
1/18/2012 2:38:58 PM
^yeah, but when would Martin Lawrence find the time?
1/18/2012 2:44:21 PM
should have made ID4-2 first
1/18/2012 3:26:55 PM
Wilder Wilder West
1/18/2012 6:22:24 PM
More like Hancock was the turning point.Doing a movie with M. Night Shyamalan is just expected after that fucking terrible movie.

I don't know, i loved the first one and will probably see it.Brolin's impression of Tommy Lee Jones is fantastic
4/27/2012 1:11:27 PM
4/27/2012 1:16:24 PM
Certainly not meant to be a new cornerstone in the sci-fi genre, but it looks like they went for pure entertainment factor and I enjoy those kinds of things.
4/27/2012 2:13:59 PM
i feel like i just saw the entire movie in that trailer.
