Belk
11/26/2011 4:15:57 PM
I'd actually consider going to Nashville, never been there

ya the site i was looking at had a typo, said belk got #4i think if wake loses today, we might get the Belk, otherwise i think its LA or DC[Edited on November 26, 2011 at 4:19 PM. Reason : a]

WE GOIN' BELKIN'[Edited on November 26, 2011 at 4:39 PM. Reason : i mean look at their logo, it looks like an acorn. raleigh = city of oaks oaks = acorns]
11/26/2011 4:37:14 PM
I've heard more than one person say the new Belk logo looks like a logo for one of those discrete tampon cases.

belk bowl/thread
11/26/2011 4:48:41 PM
belk bowl, but I'd prefer nashville
11/26/2011 5:03:11 PM
Belk bowl means I'll be able to go to it and we make people upset about our alleged 5th place in the ACC so I prefer Belk.

11/26/2011 5:38:55 PM
I was going to say that if we do go to the Belk Bowl, I hope we don't play Pitt or Syracuse, but it looks like they will be packing their locker room during the bowl season for their move to the ACC.
11/26/2011 6:33:24 PM
Definitely going to the Belk Bowl if that's the one we get!
11/26/2011 6:59:36 PM
Heard on the post game you can go to gopack.com and pick which bowl you want tickets for. They dont charge you till the bowl is announced. Would be a good way for us to show how many people are interested in going to a bowl.

Whats with the belk bowl not being on new years eve this year???
11/26/2011 8:02:53 PM
I'm hoping Music City. 1) my backyard 2) awesome NYE opportunity
11/26/2011 8:09:15 PM
I'd selfishly want the Belk Bowl just because I'll be in NC on the 27th and could potentially go.
11/26/2011 8:24:01 PM
I want the Belk Bowl, mostly because ill be in charlotte visiting the in-laws for Christmas.
11/26/2011 8:25:14 PM
I wish Bojangles would have ponied up the cash for the Charlotte bowl, guess they've invested too much in Bojangles Coliseum
11/26/2011 8:30:11 PM
Belk Bowl - bank on it
11/26/2011 8:31:44 PM
Bojangles? What would they call it? The Chicken and Biscuits Bowl?Actually, I could get behind that.
11/26/2011 8:40:35 PM
Don't even bother calling it a bowl, just call it the Tailgate Special Game./Actually, that pretty much describes every NC State home game.[Edited on November 26, 2011 at 8:42 PM. Reason : .]
11/26/2011 8:41:17 PM
I hope we go to the Music City Bowl. I would go...... would go to Charlotte but sadly have Christmas with part of my family then..... I went to Orlando and really don't want to miss the bowl game.
11/26/2011 9:25:12 PM
they arent gonna pick unc 3 of the last 4 years i think. i just hope we dont play another big east team

11/26/2011 9:30:03 PM
saw one projection that had Cincinnati in the gameno non-bcs bowl would schedule a rematch from a regular season game would they?
11/26/2011 9:32:32 PM
I certainly hope not. I'll be glad when the Big Least basically dissolves... tired of playing their teams in Bowls all the time. I was at the Champs Bowl last year. Great game. Wouldn't mind playing WVU again. I really DON'T want to play Cincy again, though.. basically any other team would be fine.
11/26/2011 9:34:53 PM
WV-MD did that one seasonIf we rematch and blowout Cincy, skokiaan's head would explode[Edited on November 26, 2011 at 9:37 PM. Reason : ]
11/26/2011 9:35:34 PM
I would be pissed if we got in the belk bowl since I can't go I live in Charlotte but won't be flying back in till the 28th from the west coast!!!!
11/27/2011 12:02:33 AM
so you wouldn't be able to go to most of the bowls we are eligible for....

Charlotte isn't great, but why does everybody have a hardon for Nashville? Wanna watch the Pack bowl then go to the Country Music Hall of Fame or something?]
11/27/2011 7:28:27 AM
^ That's a good question, I've been to Nashville twice and it's pretty much boring. I mean, you can drink there, there are a lot of bars downtown... but you can drink anywhere, and I'd rather do it in a big city in a bar with a good atmosphere than in one with a bunch of wanna-be cowgirls.I say Pack fans should want to travel to the bowl with the best payout and the most fans, which would be Belk Bowl.[Edited on November 27, 2011 at 9:08 AM. Reason : .]
11/27/2011 9:07:44 AM
I'm hoping for Charlotte. Much more affordable/economic. I can easily drive there and stay one night...or drive back after the game. Nashville is a looooong drive and I don't want to buy plane tickets for a lower tier bowl.
11/27/2011 9:14:54 AM
I think people want the Music City Bowl because we get matched with an SEC team. The prospect of playing Florida is more exciting then playing Pitt or some other big east slub.
11/27/2011 9:17:37 AM
Yes, matchups with actual fans. Getting a Pittsburgh in Charlotte is an essential home game against a team that hasn't been good in three decades.[Edited on November 27, 2011 at 9:24 AM. Reason : WVU would be OK though, they have fans and are a legit program]
11/27/2011 9:24:01 AM
Another vote for Nashville based solely on the potential opponent. A rematch with Cincy would be such a let down.
11/27/2011 9:26:41 AM
I want Nashville. But really anything but Charlotte please
11/27/2011 9:32:52 AM
Charlotte and D.C. are the only two I'd be able to attendso, I'm rooting for either Charlotte or D.C.
11/27/2011 10:09:12 AM
belk bowl, but I'd prefer nashville which is my preference because I'd have a place to stay, a guaranteed ride to the game, and I'd already be in Charlotte anyway for the holidays (and I still have wednesday off to recover and drive back to Raleigh)

People think Nashville is all country hicks but they are wrong. Its really cosmo. The honky tonks/broadway is just a vegas-scale tourist trap for country folk.
11/27/2011 10:41:16 AM
I'd rather the team play in Nashville for the competition, but if I'm going to go, I hope it's in Charlotte.
