i LOVE that site. i find lots of recipes & little household tricks (like you can polish an old ceramic sink w/ car wax & it'll be kinda like new). i check it multiple times a day. i'm using it for my christmas list too.

This is probably a dumb question, but y'all all use the pin it thing you can add to your toolbar on your browser right?

I use the Pin It button and I think "This is cool, I'll just pin this one little thing and be on my way". Never happens. I have used some recipes I've found on there and they all were wonderful.

Same here...I just pinned ^ above, and now I've pinned 8 more things

now that I've decided on how we'll remodel our guest bath, i pin a lot less. but when i was first starting out that was my main goal and i ended up pinning quite a few things.

not really. it's like a virtual cork(pin)board. you pin images or videos & it links back to the original site. you can add a description & people can comment on it. it's all image-based, not articles. another way to describe it is that it's like having visual bookmarks. you can have multiple boards & categorize stuff. you follow people & you have a feed that updates constantly.

My wifes is a pintrest fanatic. She made some peppermint candy tree thing and put it outdoors where it began to "melt" because of the moisture. The original creator left it inside.

We're gonna do a "pinterest party" after the holidays where some folks bring a dish they find off pinterest and some bring a craft that everyone can do together. I was prolly gonna do the mason jar.

Both were pretty easy... the jar is especially easy. I think I'm going to make a set of 4 for someone and do all 4 seasons - the fall one will probablyyyyy have the nightmare before christmas hill and some pumpkins

agreed. That's what my wife and I use it for - mainly for furniture and interior design etc. It's easy to find people that have similar style/taste to us.

My fiance is all about some pinterest and she's got her friends into it. Her best friend got her group of friends into too. We were at dinner the other night and one of the girls kept calling it "pin interest" I looked around the table whenever she said it and all the other girls were trying their hardest not to cringe when she said it.

I added cheese because that is optional in the recipe. Also, I have decided I like the idea of making the cup scrambled because I don't like my eggs "over hard."

^^I'm definitely not and I have my own but I mainly just use pinterest to browse other peoples' stuff so far.

However, I'm pretty sure that my Mozilla bookmarks have been acting as my own personal pinterest type service for years anyway

It basically a way to bookmark a website without cluttering up your browser favorites and be able to comment on other people's crap.
