I do voice-over for a living and some production. In my home studio I use Adobe Audition on a PC.

I make music as a hobby, I have a little studio, lots of analog synths, a tascam fw1884, and yamaha hs-80s.

I used to be. Haven't done shit in a while.Ubuntu Studio. Free. Real-time Kernel. Ardour is similar to Pro-Tools in its layout, so if you know it, you're set.or obligatoryI only record analog. I only listen to vinyl.

Ableton is super easy to work with, but the free versions are very limited (tracks & effects)Logic is the shit if you have a Mac

^^Would you suggest torrent sites, etc for finding a full, unrestricted version? When I upgraded to a slightly better version (a couple more tracks and effects) for free, i had to go through the whole verification process etc with the serial # before i could even use it....so I assumed an illegitimate version would meet that road block. Damn i want that full version, but I'm a noob to the cracked software world
