How the fuck could anyone with a college education score in the teens or low 2000s? Y'all need to read more! A lot more! I hope you can do differential equations and multivariable calculus in your head. I'm not calling you dumb--I'm just saying that I don't see how you could go through that much education and not just accidentally learn more words than that. I took it a second time and got like 3500 or something, and then a 3rd time where I completely fucked everything up...missed 2 words early on, and then just went slow and hardly even tried--STILL got a 2470.

If I'd gotten them all in 9, then I think I would have scored a 4000.So it turns out there's no way I can get to 4200. Even if I attached a mouse to my laptop, either my brain or my hand wouldn't move fast enough to get any of them in less than a second (let alone all of them). That's insane![Edited on November 7, 2011 at 5:49 PM. Reason : "in x seconds" = "with x seconds remaining" ]

my biggest downfall in these games were using definitions/synonyms that I don't typically use that word for. I don't have a good example, but in a rush (trying to keep low times), i'll scan through quickly and not see the primary (in my sense) definition/word I'm looking for, and i'll quickly choose something similar; unfortunately, within the list there is a "better" word that is the answer. still need to slow down and think about some i guess.here's a better question, smart people... what's your lowest score [Edited on November 8, 2011 at 2:17 PM. Ok, everyone take the words you're curious about and do Google NGrams on them.Consternation:http://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=consternation&year_start=1800&year_end=2000&corpus=0&smoothing=3Don't know if graph will work:It occurs far more often than incredulous but far less than providence. Much more common than I expected, but apparently I never read the books that use it.[Edited on November 8, 2011 at 2:30 PM. Reason : ]
