I mostly ignore the roasts. I always try to catch Gilbert Gottfried if he's on one. Greg Giraldo was usually great. And the one Norm MacDonald performance was classic.I only scanned through the Sheen roast for one reason, and boy did Patrice Oneal come through. He was as funny as (funnier than) anybody I've seen in a roast. His humor has a precision and accuracy that is more genuinely cutting than the typical sarcasm-tinged insult from the standard roast comedian. Anyone who has never heard his former radio show should immediately search for the Black Phillip Show on youtube or download a Black Phillip Show torrent.

anthony jeselnik owned this one, just as he did at the trump roast.
9/22/2011 12:05:11 AM
it was so fucking awful that I hated myself for even giving it a chance
9/22/2011 12:07:47 AM
Didn't care about anyone but Patrice O'Neal.A lot worse comedian spread than normal I'd say. And the whole Mike Tyson thing... god I can't even stand to listen to him, I cringe just at how awkward he is, annoying as shit to listen to. Courtney Love made more sense and was more entertaining in former roasts than Tyson.

that blonde chick was fuckin NUTSi thought she was awesome, amy somethingAlso the jokes on Patrice throughout the night were brutalthe actual roast of charlie outside of the german guy was pretty lame. Mike Tyson was the funniest thing, just because of his reactions to the potshots, the guy just loves life man. Tyson is my idol, even though i cant understand him[Edited on September 22, 2011 at 9:18 AM. Reason : f]

I really enjoyed this roast. I thought everyone did a great job, and a lot of parts had me laughing so hard i was crying.
9/22/2011 9:28:48 AM
I thought it was worth watching but I definitely wouldn't try to see it again. As far as roasts go I would say it was pretty weak overall but there were a few brutal lines here and there. My favorite had to be Tyson making fun of Seth MacFarlane taking from Homer.
9/22/2011 9:32:41 AM
i like the last joke he did about takin poetic license, since it was the only license the nevada state athletic commission didnt take away from him
9/22/2011 10:10:27 AM
pretty sure sheen himself owned the shit out of everyone else who attempted to roast him by saying the same damn thing over and over againthe thing about wringing clean piss out of shatners diaper was hilarious
9/22/2011 10:19:15 AM
jeselnik and amy schumer owned this one.i thought partrice was pretty boring, honestly. not clever at all.tyson is borderline retarded; he didn't get half the jokes that were about him.[Edited on September 22, 2011 at 11:49 AM. Reason : .]

I will say the only part I didnt care for was Steve-O.Jokes were lame, and the black eye stunt was just stupid as hell. Felt out of place.
9/22/2011 11:56:27 AM
I thought this was one of the worst roasts ever. Maybe a few chuckles but pretty horrible overall.
9/22/2011 1:57:40 PM
It was funny and entertaining enough. That being said, it definitely was the lamest dais of all the roasts I've seen. All the jokes directed at patrice o'neal were really fucked up, even for a roast, and at some points it looked like he was genuinely pissed off. Amy schumer would be really hot if not for her little muskrat face. Oh, and the chick from private practice is bangin.William Shatner was great. Mike Tyson was not, and also he's clinically insane[Edited on September 22, 2011 at 2:07 PM. Reason : /]

you dont talk that way about my michael.
9/22/2011 3:19:59 PM
Just heard the Amy Shumar joke about Sheen and Bruce Willis. That's pretty fucking funny.
9/22/2011 4:22:24 PM
I just saw the highlights, mcfarlene seemed like he was on fire, I was getting kind of sick of lampenelli but that chubby blonde nobody didn't really have her presence although she did have a few hilarious ones like the shit about sheen's kids and that hitler youth joke really cracked me up for some reason
9/22/2011 11:18:23 PM
Im gonna need some videos...thx
9/23/2011 2:06:56 PM
it's disapointing to see a whole long list of writers in the credits, I wonder what kind of input the celebrity guests have at all
9/23/2011 2:38:22 PM
zeroand how could you not know that?
9/23/2011 2:39:51 PM
apparently no one knew or cared to know this when they blasted the situation for "his" bad jokesSelective attribution at its best[Edited on September 23, 2011 at 3:03 PM. Reason : d]

I had never seen Jeselnik before but thought he had the most scathing and funny jokes. I think he just came up with that "no one has ever said too few black people" right off the top of his head which had me rolling more than anything scripted.
9/23/2011 3:32:29 PM
damn. i had no idea the celebs weren't writing their own jokes. well, i figured tyson was getting some help, but the comedians, too? weak
9/23/2011 3:36:23 PM
Just watched this and agree with most of the thoughts on here. Jeselnik was definitely my favorite. Steve-O was terrible and Mike Tyson is so awkward to watch.
